Keyarris Garrett is fighting for his life to make the Carolina Panthers’ 53-man roster. Tonight’s catch vs Pittsburg in the preseason finale will certainly help.

Unfortunately for Garrett, the referees called offensive pass interference on the play, overturning his touchdown. Garrett finished with 1 catch for a measly 12 yards.
His final stats for the preseason were 4 catches for 63 yards. We are all hoping for Keyarris to make the final roster, but aside from tonight’s catch (that didn’t count), he has had a ho-hum start to his NFL career.
31 receivers were taken in the 2016 NFL draft. Despite having more receiving yards last season than each one of them, former Tulsa Wide Receiver Keyarris Garrett went undrafted. This is certainly a surprise for a player who shined at the combine, has all the physical tools, and who put up the production he did.
Garrett signed with the Carolina Panthers as a free agent after the conclusion of the draft, where he’ll join Kelvin Benjamin, Devin Funchess, Tedd Ginn Jr, and the rest of the Panther receiving corps.
